CORKY ART

When asked to describe my style I like to say it's "in the twilight zone between cartoon and reality, yet neither." I like to paint waves that I would like to be riding. The scenes are inspired by all kinds of things. Photos, memories, things I just see along the way. I stop the car and take a photo of a bunch of clouds or something else that I might want to put into a painting.

I think I go much more for "feeling" than I do for being technically perfect or even correct. The cool thing about art is you can pretty much do whatever you want. I absolutely love doing these paintings. I think I have an addiction to colors and if there is a cure I don't want it. Awhoooooooo.
