BMS Legends Co-Designed QT

Corky Carroll and Mike Purpus came together to co-design this special high performance surfboard. These BMS Legends of Surfing co-designed boards are as beautiful as they are functional. The reason our Blue Mango Surf and Hot Lips Design boards are superior to others is simple. They are 100% handcrafted with the finest materials from the same Hermosa Beach factory that legendary shapers Rick Stoner, Phil Becker, Matt Calvani, Jose Barahona, Dan Cobley and several other notable shapers called home. Over a million boards have been hand shaped there and everything is still done in-house. That means we have total control of the whole process from designing, shaping, airbrushing, lamination, polish and finishing. The BMS Legends of Surfing QT (Quiver Thinner) is exactly as it sounds. It's not exactly a classic 50/50 egg rail classic but also not exclusively a high performance 2+1. The beauth of this user friendly shape is, depending on conditions, can be ridden either way, just by utilizing the right fin set up. All QT models are 9' long but we also make a jumbo 3.25" thick version for bigger and or older surfers that still want to rip.

This BMS Legends QT model should ultimately become a prized collectors item. All BMS Legends of Surfing models are signed by both Corky and Mike. Thickness and width are based on your size, weight and surf ability. This model starts at $1299.99 in clear and already includes S-glass and dual glue cuts for that three stringer look. This classic shape works in all sizes and we can make them from 5'6" to 9'6". We highly recommend going 9' and modifying the width and thickness to your skills, age, and weight. We also have a fuller railed, 23.75" wide version that is 3.25" thick and super user friendly. It can even be ridden as a traditional single fin, a thruster, or 2+1.
