BMS Legends of Surfing Mid Length QT
Corky and Mike worked together on this design with master shaper, Jose Barahona. They were tasked with creating a magic sub 9' board that would be fun to ride for all skill levels, old, young, and in between. The goal was to create a board that would work great in all conditions. After all, any board will ride great in perfect surf. It's finding a board that works equally great in junky surf too. Surfing is all about having fun and nobody has more fun than Corky and Mike.
We call this model Corky's Carroll Legends of Surfing QT (Quiver Thinner) because it replaces a long board and fish. On the 8' and longer models, we offer a quad box setup with a traditional fin box. On the shorter models, we can build them as quads or with five fin boxes.
Unlike cheap offshore imitations, all Corky Carroll and Hot Lips Designs boards are 100% hand created in the Legendary Rick/Becker/Mangiagli Hermosa Beach factory that has likely put out well over a million boards in the last 50 years. This particular model features S-Glass for added strength and glue cuts for the beauty of a triple stringer look without the added stiffness.
This model is definitely a collector's dream as each is autographed by Corky and Mike. These boards are custom made-to-order so if you want a personal inscription, just ask.
